Refund Policy


If you purchase the wrong item or have been sent the wrong cartridges, you have received a faulty cartridge or decide for any reason that you don’t require the item then you must return the order in full within 21 days of the original purchase date. The cartridges must be unopened, unused and in a resell-able condition.  Once received we can issue a refund or an exchange. (Distance Selling Regulations 2010) However you must request a RMA number.

When a refund is requested, this will take place within 10 days of receiving the returned order. A refund will be given by the same payment method as the initial order. If you follow our instructions to the letter when requesting your RMA number your postage costs will also be refunded provided you have used Royal Mail 2nd class. No refund for any other method used for returning cartridges. If returned cartridges have been used no refund will be given.


Before any item is returned we ask that you contact us to request an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authority) Please write the RMA number provided clearly on the outside of the package. Please request a RMA by email: or by using our contact form - clearly stating your full details, order number and reasons for the return. Please note No RMA number = no refund (no exceptions)

Please contact us before returning any item so we can provide you with an RMA Number and importantly the relevant returns address that must be used in all instances.

If your goods are damaged
In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit please contact us immediately. Please also retain the original packaging for returning with your order. We will arrange for a prompt replacement or refund, whichever you prefer.

Please ensure that you obtain proof of postage for any returned items. Ink Shop cannot be held responsible for packages that are not received. (In which case you will have to make a claim for loss from the Post Office).
